Summer is my love language. Bold statement, I know, but everything is simpler in the summer time... At least for me! This past summer has been one of my favorites, and every memory I made will be a imprint on my brain that I will never forget. I traveled, spent all my free time with my amazing boyfriend, and every day I didn't work was spent well. As much as I hate to see the crisp air come, I know it is inevitable. I might as well make it stylish, right??? Despite how much I HATE the cold weather, the fall wardrobe is honestly one of my favorite seasons to dress for. I have started to prep my closet, pull things out of storage, and look for staple pieces to add to my closet. I have created a simple list of items I want to add this year, and it has helped my shopping budget so much! No more aimlessly walking around my favorite stores. I shop with a purpose now!
In this blog post, I will share with you six pieces that are budget-friendly AND can both be used for summer or fall! I decided to write this post because most students my age cannot afford to buy all new items for the change of the seasons. Hopefully through this blog post you will see all of the Fall outfits I have created with my summer wardrobe and try it for yourself!
All of these items are student based, so they are cheap, reusable, and SO TRENDY!
This is probably one of the most frequently asked question in DMs, and once I changed my feed, the messages started flowing in like crazy. As promised, I will be filming a YouTube video as well as this blog post just sharing how I edit my photos.
I first want to start out with how I used to edit my photos. This is how I filtered them for literal years! As far as I have been on Instagram I have used this same look. It is super easy, free, and it makes your photos POP with color!!
This is how my Instagram appeared before I changed my editing system.
As you all know from my social media, I work with a lot of brands. One of the main things that I think is cool about my blog and social media is that I love working with little brands. These companies are usually just small entrepreneurs with a big vision, and they look to me & my social media to get them a little bit more exposure. I absolutely adore these partnerships, and at the end of the day, I am able to make friendships as well. With that being said, I would like to introduce to you the first business feature on my blog, The Thrifty Sisters.
One of the major things I want to focus on in this blog is practicality. On my instagram account, 94% of my following is young women between the ages of 18-25. If you think about that age range, most of us are living at home, in college, or balancing between life and our jobs. We don't have money to flaunt! We need to use our money with intention, and most of the time that means picking the full tank of gas over the shoes that we really want that we just cant afford!
Ususally "Girl's Night Out" means that what happens with the girls, stays with the girls - But in this case, I HAD TO share with yall one of the best days I've ever had!
It started out so sweet. I didn't have to work, and Katie (here) slept over at my house the night before. We woke up the next morning, hung out, and leisurely got dressed for a whole day of adventure in my little home town. I showed Katie all my favorite boutiques and stores, and we simply just had a wonderful time together. Here are some pictures from the day. It was so lovely.
I get so many questions daily in my Instagram DM's about my hair that I thought it would be a great start to my blog and YouTube channel! If you didn't get a chance to watch the video, I will add the video below! In the blog post today I will be writing in more detail about the products themselves, where you can purchase/link, and the price of each item! Make sure to share the video with your friends and comment any questions you may have!
If you know anything about me, or follow me on ANY social media, you may know that I have a little (okay, so maybe a HUGE) obsession with clothes...
I don't like to call it probkem, I like to call it a passion. My mama may disagree though...
