Summer is my love language. Bold statement, I know, but everything is simpler in the summer time... At least for me! This past summer has been one of my favorites, and every memory I made will be a imprint on my brain that I will never forget. I traveled, spent all my free time with my amazing boyfriend, and every day I didn't work was spent well. As much as I hate to see the crisp air come, I know it is inevitable. I might as well make it stylish, right??? Despite how much I HATE the cold weather, the fall wardrobe is honestly one of my favorite seasons to dress for. I have started to prep my closet, pull things out of storage, and look for staple pieces to add to my closet. I have created a simple list of items I want to add this year, and it has helped my shopping budget so much! No more aimlessly walking around my favorite stores. I shop with a purpose now!
In this blog post, I will share with you six pieces that are budget-friendly AND can both be used for summer or fall! I decided to write this post because most students my age cannot afford to buy all new items for the change of the seasons. Hopefully through this blog post you will see all of the Fall outfits I have created with my summer wardrobe and try it for yourself!
All of these items are student based, so they are cheap, reusable, and SO TRENDY!
Auburn red is a color that will forever be dear to my heart. It is a perfect transition color that puts you in your fall-feels all year round. With this outfit, I decided to incorporate my favorite summer denim mini skirt to a baby-doll top as a perfect outfit for the upcoming months. With this outfit, grab some staple booties like these and you will be ready for class or a simple date. I added my favorite jewelry items from BluuMoon Collection to really tie the whole look together!
Growing up, I was always told that you were never supposed to wear white after labor day... *eye roll* This "rule" was always one that I chose to break, and my mama always had something to say about it. In 2014, Jennifer Lawrence wore white at the Oscars awards, and Coco Chanel herself famously wore white year-round. Once I dove into the fashion world, I screamed SCREW IT to white only in the summer months.
With this outfit, I paired a light, linen white shirt with these super cute star-denim jeans from Sassyfras boutique - Linked HERE! This outfit is light, layer-able, and practical at all times of the day. I matched them with these super cute, slip-on shoes from target!
Speaking of date night!!! This next one will blow his socks off!!!! This super cute romper is exactly what you need when thinking about the "bold statement" piece for fall. This romper features full lining in the short section, and lace throughout the whole top! I would wear this with a black/nude bodysuit and matching cheetah print shoes to add some pazzas!
If you could feel this sweater in person, you'd probably die... No joke! I recently picked up this outfit from my last trip to the mall. This sweater and suede short combination is KILLER. Suede is such a simple fall adition, and the dark green color really sells it. This cream top contrast the shorts soooo well, and it is on SALE!
I paired it with simple gold jewlery, and some slide on shoes from Steve Madden
This one is SO out of my comfort zone, but thats the best part about it. This next feature has a stunning leather jacket from Members Only. This jacket is perfect in every way, and I am 100% obsessed with it. I paired this look with a simple t-shirt dress, found HERE, and the same booties I got from TJMAXX!
This last flatly is one of my personal favorites. This past week, I picked up THIS black sweater from Aerie's 40% off sale, and I thought it was a perfect match for this cute, mini skirt from Sassyfras Boutique. These two go GREAT together, and are a perfect combination for a fall transistion outfit.
thank you so much for tuning in to this latest post!
